The Gear!

I’m not the biggest on camera gearhead nor do I have the desire to have the latest and most expensive equipment. I have always looked at function over coolness. Can I get more out of what I have rather than can the gear make me better. I’m sure my military background has something to do with this mindset. However, I thought I would share with you what i’m working with currently.

  • Nikon Z7

  • Nikkor: 24-200 - I can’t say enough about this little workhorse. Probably my go to lens. Here of late I seem to be only taking it this lens with me more and more and feel it captures the images I most like. Currently!

  • Nikkor: 16-35 - I haven’t made the full transition just yet to all Z mount lenses. I probably will here in the near future however, as I mentioned in above my desire for wide angle images is not as great as it once was.
